DAF is a party for a mixed crowd of dykes, fags, trannies and their admirers with a high dosage of fun, dancing, amazing music and no attitude.
THE LOVELY JONJO needs little introduction having been a stalwart of the London indie club scene for the last few years. Starting as a core part of the small team at legendary London indie club Trash he currently is a resident DJ at Punk Wears Prada in Milan, at the internationally renowned Durrr and boasts his own East London night, Hot Boy Dancing Spot. Jonjo regularly plays nights such as Trailer Trash and Fabric Live, and festivals such as 1234, Glastonbury, Lovebox, V, the Isle of White and Airwaves in Iceland. Jonjo has supported Maximo Park on tour in China and has played Club nights in Athens, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Berlin, NYC and Tokyo. Jonjo has created catwalk music for London’s top fashion talents including Gareth Pugh, Jonathan Saunders, and Marios Schwab.
Both veteran DJs on the scene, MANDY GRAVES & JOOLS PALMER met back in 2009 and hit it off instantly. Since then, they’ve been curating and DJing at NYC party Bassment where they welcomed guest such as Kim Ann Foxman, Lady Miss Kier, Sammy Jo (Scissor Sister’s official DJ) and Johnny Dynell, establishing Bassment as the weekly go-to for DJs and house music lovers alike. The DJ duo are quickly becoming prominent members of NYC nightlife, having played at such notable parties and clubs as Josh Sparber’s Good Times, Rich King’s Snaxx, several SPANK parties and Xanadude as well as reaching beyond NYC with a national and European tour in the works.
SANJAY has been a fleeting fixture on scenes, from Medway to Calcutta, for nearly a decade – holding residencies at Rebel Rebel and most recently, Dalston Superstore. Described as “the Indian Kenneth Williams”, this popinjay can usually be found rummaging for disco reclaim and house rarities.
